Acting 4 Adults

Active Birth Pregnancy Yoga

Saturdays 10am-12pm

Gently stretch, massage and relax with Active Birth associate Liz. Positions for labour and yoga techniques that benefit you before, during and after the birth of your baby. Start to bond with your baby, get to know your changing body and meet other pregnant women and feel comfortable and supported.

Belly Dancing is a gentle and expressive way of keeping fit and improving flexibility and coordination. It provides an all over workout without being physically exhausting and can induce feelings of well being and exhilaration. Creative Photography Group

Every second Wednesday from 7.30-9pm

In-between sessions we tackle a mini-project or theme, then get together to discuss the results, talk about photography, and learn how to ‘see’ creatively. Aimed at stretching and developing your ability to take interesting, original photos. Open to anyone with a camera, whatever ability.

Film Making Workshops

Award winning filmmaker, Rick West, is running a series of film making classes for youngsters. Workshops will include: generating story ideas, creating plausible characters, drama workshops, script writing, camera and sound recording, editing, the grammar of film, documentary techniques and much more. Participants will learn how to make a short film and will take it home on DVD at the end of the course.

Fitness Ballet

Come along and enjoy a fresh new type of fitness class that encompasses the elegance and poise of ballet whilst still giving you a great workout! Flamenco Movement & Flamenco Movement Stage 2

Tuesdays 11.30am - 12.30pm

Stamp your feet hard, lift your arms high, clap your hands with gusto and move your body with passion to wonderfully, vibrant music. Learn some basic (and later, more complex) movements relating to styles such as: Sevillanas, Alegrías, Bulerías and Fandango. You will be encouraged to develop at your own pace.

Flamenco Movement Stage 2

For those who have already completed their first term. As before, be prepared to stamp your feet hard, lift your arms high, clap your hands with gusto, wave fans rhythmically and move your body with passion. You will be encouraged in an enjoyable, challenging way, to respond to a wonderfully rich, vibrant array of Flamenco music. You will continue to develop basic and more complex movements relating to styles such as: Sevillanas, Alegrías, Bulerías and Fandango de Huelva. Wear shoes with a firm heel and ideally, women should wear a comfortable, generous skirt.
