| Biodynamic Massage, Body Psychotherapy Counselling and Breath Work | Biodynamic Massage is concerned with the integration of mind and body through the use of touch and awareness. How we hold onto stress in our bodies is crucial to our emotional, psychological, physical and spiritual well being. Biodynamic massage works towards restoring the natural rhythms of a bodymind system so that stress can be digested. A variety of massage techniques are used. Breath work uses a combination of awareness, breathing and specific light or deep touch to help us to let go of emotional blockages held in the body. These blockages can be experienced as physical tension, rigidity in the mind or body or in our methods of relating to ourselves and others. Ultimately it brings freedom and profoundly deepens our sense of self. Explore the connection between your mind and bod, complete emotional patterns and integrate past experiences. Emotional. psychological and physical issues can be addressed and transformed eg. depression, anxiety, bereavement, anger, eating disorders, insomnia, relationship problems, trauma, loss of meaning or joy, unhappiness, fatigue, RSI, desiring change etc. Ruth offers long and short term work.
