The Tide of Separation - Isolation - Connection

Caroline Anderson

Gallery 2

25 April - 8 May
Caroline Anderson MA. MA. BSc (hons).MBPS. MBACP. AIST. PTUK. is a seascape artist and a creative arts psychotherapist who has followed the Buddhist path for several years. With an increasing interest in the emotional connections between the Buddhist stages of Birth – Death – Rebirth and the psychological impact of life’s changing patterns, her latest exhibition has evolved to encompass three groups of paintings.

The works are accompanied with a text and tell a story of sea journeys – the goodbye, the initial anxiety of the unknown and the final settling into a new beginning. Both positive and negative occasions are depicted to trace the passing of time and the impermanence of the sea and life.

The Preview Reception will take place on 28th April 2018 from 3pm to 6pm in Gallery 2. Come along to meet the artist over drinks and nibbles and take the opportunity to discuss the concept behind the exhibition. Children are welcome.
