My inspiration is the countryside that surrounds me in East Kent with its dramatic white cliffs, rolling rich fields and wild hedgerows packed full of colour and shape. I see these views framed by grasses and flowers and try to capture their bursting energy by flicking and splashing paint onto the canvas.
