Carrie Tree

Carrie Tree has been a well known name on the UK alternative/green festival scene for several years with regular appearances at Glastonbury and Green gathering. She's toured/collaborated with artist such as Damien Rice, Carly Simon, Ben Taylor, Rumer, Duke Special, Martha Tilston - even the prog rock band Marillion!

In 2013 Carrie released a solo project EP in May, another in July and will be releasing a full album in February 2014, 'Home to the Invisible'. 2013 has been amazing for Carrie, with an interview / session on Dermot OLearys BBC 2 show (the third biggest show in UK radio with 1.6m listeners) and performances on main stages at Glastonbury, Great Escape and Sunrise.

Most excitingly she has just returned from Durban, South Africa where she recorded two of her songs with members of the legendary groups Ladysmith Black Mambazo and Miriam Makeba's band. Those two songs will be on her next release.

Recently, Carrie received a rave review from Brighton's most respected music paper The Source in which they compared her to -

"Bjork, with English folk sensibilities!"

House of Hats

House of Hats formed just over a year ago and are already one of the most talked about groups in Brighton, with a style likened to Crosby, Stills and Nash - Fleet Foxes and Mumford and Sons. In addition to regular sell out UK gigs, they are also going international having supported Will & The People on tour in Holland in December 2013, as well as appearing on the biggest live session radio show in the Netherlands.

They deliver a textured and pure sound with male and female figures sharing the lead. In their first year 2012, House Of Hats played over 100 shows securing a headline slot at The Emerging Artists tent at Cambridge Folk Festival as well as a regular packed residency in Brighton to a loyal fan-base.

With a full UK tour planned for February ahead of their new self released album 'This Love', they're one to watch out for in 2014.

"House of Hats your set was stunning, such harmonies, stayed with me." Zoe Ball - Radio 2
