Gala Fundraising Evening for Diabetes UK - With Auction and Live Music
12 Apr 201312 Apr 2013
Friday 12 April 7.30pm (doors/bar 7pm)
Tatum Moss was a courageous young woman who suffered from type 1 diabetes. We celebrate her laughter and joy for life in an evening of music, dance and frenzied auction bidding. So grab a drink, buy some raffle tickets and get set to party as the Nagasaki 3, 60ft Jesus, Centurion Sect and guests perform!
The Nagasaki 3 are a Kent based 50's Rock and Roll, Surf Rock and Rockabilly band playing a varity of up-beat music ranging from Eddie Cochran, Dick Dale, The Surfaris, Jonny Cash, The Lively Ones, Jonny Kidd and the Pirates, The Cramps, Chuck Berry, Link Wray and Elvis Presley.
Centurion Sect are a garage punk band who write and perform dark and dangerously amusing songs. We wear pyjamas and glower menacingly at our audience, causing grown men to weep with envy and women to faint from sexual anticipation. We are new, we are fun, we are ready to take the world by storm.
Whitstable garage rock rapscallions Black Mule were formed in 2012. They play an eclectic mix of 60's garage anthems, melodic punk, blues and dirty rockabilly for your delight and delectation. Get those dancing shoes on!
