4 MAHL Sticks together
Angela Malone
Gained her BA (Hons) in Sculpture at UCA Canterbury in 2010, after studying for some time in Vienna. Her figurative works look at creating links between the past and present, citing influences such as the seaside where she lives and the Classics, which inform her taste and style.
Tom Ashworth
A painter and natural history illustrator who specialises in depicting whales and the environment they occupy. Although usually working carefully to scale he has ventured, more recently, into the realms of life sized renditions. Tom uses acrylic paint and lots of it.
John Hughes
A painter and art teacher based in Cliffsend, near Ramsgate. His painting practice is drawn from an intensive view of the landscape and he works predominantly in oils in his developed paintings, although working studies are done in a variety of media as well as using photographs.
Peter Livesey
Was a GP in Canterbury, Sub-Dean to King’s College Hospitals and Regional Advisor to SE Thames. As an artist he has exhibited at the Royal Watercolour Society and in 2010 won a SAA Commendation. His watercolours focus on figurative realism and body language: the Art of Captured Moments.
