She Writes is 17Percent’s popular showcase of new playwriting by women. In July, we were invited by Lounge on the Farm to present a showcase, featuring five of our most popular short plays, all written by Kentish authors. There are aliens, a sea monster, a psycho-killer, a date that goes horribly wrong and a pair of women whose interest in celebrity cookware goes too far.
For those of our audience who couldn’t make the festival – we are now repeating the show at the Horsebridge – knitted glove puppets, sweeties and all!
